| These are the tune-up specifications for the
Batavus with a Laura M48 engine. They were taken from the Batavus service
manual. |

Spark plug: Bosch 175T1 for the 20 and 25 mph version. Bosch W240T1
for the 30 mph version. I use NGK 4210 B5HS (hotter) or B6HS (colder) with
good results. NOTE: NGK spark plugs have their heat range rating numbers
backward to all other spark plugs in that 2 = hot, up to 10 = cold.

Spark plug gap: 0.020 inch.

Breaker Point Gap: 0.016 inch.

Ignition Timing: 0.079 inch BTDC.
